Four Hospitals in Tuscany

In the wake of the success of Mestre’s new hospital and Naples’ future new hospital (“Ospedale del Mare”), Astaldi Group was recently awarded another project finance deal in the healthcare construction sector. The project in question concerns the construction and subsequent management of four hospitals in Tuscany located in Massa, Lucca, Pistoia and Prato.
Astaldi will be responsible for the funding, design, construction and management of the four hospitals occupying a total covered surface area of 200,000 m².

The hospitals will make available a total of 1,710 beds, 52 operating theatres, 134 dialysis units and 106 cots. The duration of the concession is 22 years and 9 months including 3 years and 5 months for the design and construction phase.
